2025-2026 Logan Elm Preschool
We are accepting applications for 2025-2026 Preschool classes for residents of the Logan Elm Local School District only.
Once you submit your application, you may call the Enrollment Center at 740-477-4445 to schedule a screening appointment.
Screening Appointments will be held at the McDowell Education Center on April 4, 11, and 25, 2025.
During the screening appointment,
- students will be screened in the areas of Language, Concepts, Motor Skills, and Vision & Hearing.
- parents will complete the application process and will need to bring the following items
- Child's Birth Certificate
- Child's Immunization records
- Parent's photo ID
- Custody documents, if applicable
- Proof of residency--parent/guardian must live in the Logan Elm School District; we do not accept Open Enrollment in Preschool:
- If you own or rent a home in the district, please complete the Residency Verification Form and be sure to bring one item from Category A and one item from Category B as indicated on the form.
- If you are not the homeowner, renter, leasee, or tenant of the property, you must complete the Friend and Family Packet and provide all documentation indicated in the form. Parent/guaridan must complete page 1 and the homeowner/leasee must complete page 2, including a notarized signature.
- If homeless and eligible to enroll under McKinney-Vento Act, please inform us of your situation during your enrollment appointment
Please note: Completing the application and screening process does not guarantee enrollment in Logan Elm Preschool for 2025-2026. Our preschool enrollment is limited to 66 total students in the following categories: Students with Disabilities (20 or more students), Early Childhood Education Grant participants (30 students eligible through https://benefits.ohio.gov childcare application), and Tuition slots (maximum of 16 students).

Students with Disabilities/Developmental Delay
We accept enrollment of children ages 3-5 with disabilities at any time during the school year. If our preschool classes are at capacity, we will offer placement at other preschool programs such as Head Start or will offer Itinerant Services.
If you suspect your child has developmental delays or deficits in
speech, communication, vision, hearing, self-help,
social-emotional, behavioral or cognitive skills, please contact us.
