Savings Opportunities for Families
The Logan Elm Board of Education acted to waive academic and extracurricular participation fees for the 2024-25 school year at their meeting on August 12, 2024.

“We hope this will provide some relief to families struggling with higher taxes or other inflation,” stated President Debbie Shaw. The waiver does not apply to fines, preschool tuition or student club dues.

The District is also now accepting free meal applications as it has in the past.  Students should automatically receive free meals if their family receives benefits through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Ohio Works First (OWF) or Medicaid through direct certification.  Families that do not receive benefits through one of those programs but have a household income at or below 185% of poverty guidelines can also qualify by completing an application.  For example, a family of four qualifies if their household income is at or below $57,720.   Additional information and the application form is available on our website:

Lastly, the District is offering a $25 yearlong pass for students in grades 6-12 to attend unlimited home regular season athletic contests. Follow the link below and click “GET PASSES” for instructions to purchase this new student pass.
