Construction of New Building Moves into Project Phase
On August 23, 2019, the construction the new K-12 Building took a step forward. Board of Education
members Scott Allen and Michael Linton, Superintendent Tim Williams and Mike Mendenhall,
Mendenhall MCS, conducted a meeting with OFCC representatives Valerie Montoya (Planning), Stacey
Thomas (Projects) and Rhonda Hagemeyer (Projects). This meeting signals the transition from OFCC’s
planning phase to the project phase.
As a result of this meeting, the process to create a request for proposal for an architect to design the
new building will begin. This process should take approximately four weeks. It is with great excitement
that we move into this next phase of providing a modern educational environment for our students.
